Allergy Friendly Trick or Treating | https://eatatourtable.comHalloween Traditions

If you read my post on Trick or Treating tips, you know that I have never actually gone Trick or Treating.  For the first time this year I made these cute little Pumpkin Treats for my daughter’s day care class and gave you a few great tips on handling food sensitivities.
They were so much fun to put together, so I’m hoping to get to continue doing them for her each year. We also just bought her an Elsa costume (despite never having seen the movie, she has picked up the song “Let it Go” and sings it constantly!).  It’s been fun starting new traditions with her.

A tradition my husband and I started after we got married was carving pumpkins. Since I started My Gluten Free Miami, he has designed (so talented!) and carved a pumpkin for my blog! You can see last years HERE. This year’s is awesome, don’t you think? Be sure to leave him some love in the comments!

Allergy Safe Halloween

Halloween should be a fun time for all children, but if you aren’t familiar with allergies or food sensitivities it can be a bit tricky. Many people aren’t familiar with how to handle giving out treats to kids with Celiac Disease or Allergies. There are so many amazing gluten free and allergy free bloggers out there, that I asked for their expert tips on how to have an allergy safe Halloween. Check out all these awesome articles and you will be well prepared for Halloween next week!

Thanks for this! So many kids have allergies and it really is hard to tell what is safe and what isn’t from just a wrapper.
