Freshly Meal Service Review- Gluten Free Meal Delivery

Freshly Meal Service provides ready made gluten free meals straight to your door!Freshly Meal Service

This post is a collaboration between Freshly and My Gluten Free Miami in exchange for an honest opinion.

Meal Service Addict

I‘ll admit it. I’m an addict. Addicted to trying out different meal services. I love to cook, but I also love to have easy meals ready go. Before being diagnosed with Celiac, we would occasionally order out on busy nights, but now that just isn’t possible. There aren’t any gluten free delivery places near me.

This is why I love trying programs like Freshly and I have to tell you the week that we received it was an insane week and I was so grateful to have an easy option that kept us eating healthy, tasted great, and was of course gluten free.

Freshly Meal Service Facts

Overall, I was really pleased with the quality and taste of the Freshly Meals. They were full of flavor and filling. Here are few observations I had to help you determine if Freshly might be a service you would like to try.

Pros

Gluten Free: All of the Freshly meals are gluten free, this is awesome because it limits concerns about cross contact.  Facilities are gluten and peanut free.

Fresh: All meals are fresh, nothing is frozen.

Variety: They offer a lot of choices so each person in the family can choose what they like or avoid allergens.

Cons

Price: The cost is always a bit hard for me. Freshly meals average about $10.00 each including shipping. Compared to ordering out or fast food, it is comparative and much tastier.

Fresh: All meals are fresh, so they need to be eaten within a certain amount of time.

Customization: Unable to customize individual meals if you have random allergies.

Overall we really enjoyed Freshly, if you want it to try it out, use the link below to get 35% off your first week. You can cancel anytime, so it’s worth giving it a try!

This looks yummy! I looked into Freshly but it isn’t yet available in my area. Have you tried Blue Apron before?

I’ve never tried a food service before. Honestly, I assumed it would be more expensive. Plus I have a dairy allergy, and assumed it would be impossible to find anything for me to eat. I might actually look into this now though. Thanks for sharing!

I hope it works for you! Having a lot of allergies make things difficult, but I feel like companies are starting to take allergies into account.

Yum! Boxes are expensive but definitely cheaper than going out to eat for people who don’t have the time or energy to meal plan and shop.

I have never used a meal service but it’s a great idea for eating healthy and for portion control. I’ll have to see if this is available in my area.

This would be a good option for my Aunt who has Celiac. She doesn’t cook much because it’s just her, and I’m concerned that she doesn’t eat properly — to have the meal already done for her would be a boon. Passing this on to her!
